Privacy for companies and their employees

A company page on JoinedMove is made to get colleagues moving together, not to monitor them. Here is exactly what an employer does and does not see.

What the manager of a company page sees

  • Who is a member of the company page (username and avatar).
  • Who signs up for the company page's activities.
  • The dashboard: number of activities, sign-ups, unique participants, split per sport and the most active members within the company page.
  • Messages in the company page chat.

What the employer does not see

  • Nothing extra about personal activities: only what anyone sees on a public profile. Prefer not? Set your profile to private.
  • Your live location: it stays on your own phone.
  • Private chats and chats of other activities.
  • A colleague's work email: we only use it to confirm membership.
  • An employee's personal email address.

Our principles

Voluntary

Taking part is always a personal choice. Members can leave the company page at any time.

Separate

Employees keep their personal account with their own email. The work email is only the key to the company page.

Minimal

We ask for and show no more than needed to do sports together.

Deletable

An account and its data can be deleted in the app itself (Settings).

Storage and security

JoinedMove runs on the Base44 platform, which provides hosting and data storage. Access to data is separated per role: participant lists, work email confirmations and reports can only be read through secured server functions or by the JoinedMove team.

Data processing agreement

Does your organisation need a data processing agreement or have a privacy question? Leave your details and we'll get in touch.
